Lisa Kent is a graphic designer and photographer. She lives in Farr West, Utah. She attended Brigham Young University-Idaho for 2 years where she completed and received her Associates of Science Degree. After graduating from BYU-I, she married her soulmate, Preston Kent. She then moved to Farr West, Utah and attended Weber State University where she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communications.
While going to school she worked at Buzz Graphics where she learned how to design professionally, work with clients, and print large format pieces. During her last semester at Weber State, she landed an internship at Fluid Advertising in Bountiful. After graduating, she was hired on full-time and worked there for two years. While at Fluid she designed websites, worked on ad campaigns, designed logos and branding for companies, and many other creative tasks. She worked on accounts such as Staker Parson, M’lis, Orbit Irrigation, and Verisign.
In April of 2014 she began working for American Pet Nutrition in Ogden, Utah as an Art Director for the branded side of the business. She designs packaging, logos, marketing materials, trade show graphics, etc. She works on pet food brands such as, Supreme Source®, Vita Bone®, Beggar Dog®, and others.
Even though she works full-time at American Pet Nutrition, she also finds time for freelance projects. Contact her for design or photography work.

Conceptualized and designed pet food packaging for American Pet Nutrition’s brands. Designed logos, trade show booths, print pieces, t-shirts, etc. Photographed dogs for packaging and pet food plant for website. Set up art correctly on templates for print. Resized art to many different packaging templates. Went on press checks to approve prints. Worked closely with marketing director and the rest of the brand team on various projects.
January 2012 – April 2014 (2 years 4 months)
Conceptualized, developed and executed top quality designs. Prepared work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials. Illustrated concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts. Developed the graphic tone and style for many projects with great attention to detail. Presented and helped sell the work to the client. Maintained a high level of professionalism. Collaborated with others such as production managers, designers, printers, programmers, and developers to complete projects.
July 2010 – December 2011 (1 year 6 months)
Designed small and large format designs including logos, banners, signs, business cards, flyers, and vehicle graphics. Printed banners and vehicle graphics on a large-format printer. Interacted with clients and worked with them in creating a custom design for them or their company. Also created multiple WordPress websites for clients.
